Sundsvall Municipality is now looking for an engaged and curious IT technician who wants to contribute to our IT operations and digital development.

Your contributions as a junior IT systems technician

As a junior IT technician, you will be an important part of our team and work with:

• Operation and maintenance of our IT systems, including Linux and Windows Server and various types of virtualization solutions
• Support and troubleshooting, where you assist and manage incidents
• Operation of our systems, ensuring that they function today and tomorrow
• Ongoing development of the IT environment together with senior colleagues
• Participating in the development and further development of automation solutions

Your skills and experience

• You have an education in IT or equivalent professional experience
• You have basic knowledge of Windows Server or Linux and virtualization
• You are solution-oriented, curious, and want to develop in IT
• You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• A clear interest in programming and automation

We consider it an advantage if you have a completed university education in IT or have 1-2 years of relevant experience working with Linux or Windows Server and various types of virtualization solutions.
